The short version
- We collect nothing about your shoppers — no names, no email addresses, no orders, no payment details.
- What we keep is about your store: its address on Shopify, who installed the app, which products have a live button, and your settings.
- Uninstall and it is erased. Every record tied to your store is deleted.
The detail
What the app stores about your store
Only what the app needs to put a live button on your product pages and keep it working:
- Your store's address on Shopify, and the credential that lets the app act on your behalf.
- The name, email address and language of the staff account that installed the app. Shopify provides this as part of the install.
- Which of your products have a live button — each product's Shopify identifier paired with the link it opens.
- Your display and availability settings, including opening hours and your store's time zone if you use scheduled availability.
- Your 360 World account keys. The secret key is encrypted at rest; the public one is the same value your storefront already shows.
- Progress records while a bulk action runs, so you can see how far it has got and what failed.
What we do not collect
Nothing about the people who visit your store. No names, no email addresses, no addresses, no order history, no customer records, no payment or card details.
Shopify requires every app to answer two requests on a shopper's behalf — one asking what data the app holds about them, one asking it to be erased. Ours have nothing to answer with, because we hold nothing about your shoppers in the first place.
We do not track anyone across websites, build advertising profiles, or sell or share data with anyone for advertising.
What happens during a live session
When a shopper taps the button, a session opens on the 360 World platform and someone in your store answers it. The conversation is between those two people.
The Shopify app's part ends the moment it hands over the link. It takes no part in the call and stores nothing about it — not who called, not when, not how long.
How long we keep it, and how to have it erased
Uninstalling the app is the erase. When you uninstall, Shopify instructs us to erase your shop, and we delete every record tied to your store — settings, product links, keys, the install session, and job history. Shopify sends that instruction 48 hours after you uninstall.
You can also ask us to erase your data at any time without uninstalling. Write to support@360world.com from an address on the store's account.
This website
This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from anyone else. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel and no advertising code on this page.
The only link that takes you off this site is the one to book a call, which opens Calendly. What happens there is covered by Calendly's own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about your store, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy, or ask us to erase it. Write to support@360world.com and we will answer.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. We honour those requests regardless of where you are.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or what we do with it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell merchants directly rather than relying on you to notice.
